Who We Are
US Figure Skating News is a dedicated digital publication covering the athletes, competitions, and stories of US figure skating. We provide in-depth athlete profiles, competition results, season previews, and news coverage across all four Olympic disciplines — ladies singles, men's singles, pairs, and ice dance.
Our coverage follows US skaters from the junior level through the Olympic stage, with a focus on bringing fans closer to the athletes and the sport they love. Whether you're a longtime figure skating follower or new to the sport, our goal is to be the most complete and accurate resource for US figure skating.
What We Cover
Our Approach
Accuracy
We verify scores, standings, and biographical information against official ISU and US Figure Skating sources before publishing.
Depth
Beyond the headlines — full career results, program details, and the stories behind the performances that define US figure skating.
Respect
Athletes first. We cover skaters with the care and context their careers deserve, from their first competition to the Olympic stage.
The 2025–26 Season
The 2025–26 season was one of the most remarkable in US figure skating history. At the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, the United States won gold in the figure skating team event for the second consecutive Olympics, with Alysa Liu claiming individual gold in women's singles — the first US women's singles Olympic champion since Sarah Hughes in 2002. Ilia Malinin, the sport's reigning world record holder, and ice dance legends Madison Chock and Evan Bates were central to one of the deepest and most decorated US Olympic teams in decades.
Our 2025–26 coverage includes full profiles for all 16 members of the US Olympic figure skating team, complete with career histories, ISU personal bests, world standings, season programs, and competition results.
