Leah Neset and Artem Markelov are 2024 World Junior champions — the highest achievement available to a junior ice dance team — and 2025–26 senior Grand Prix competitors. Their junior world title placed them among the most decorated junior American ice dance teams in recent history and fast-tracked their development into the senior ranks.
Transitioning to the senior field in 2025–26, Neset and Markelov earned a Grand Prix Skate Canada assignment and finished eighth at the U.S. Championships. The adjustment from junior to senior competition is rarely seamless, but their world championship pedigree and strong technical base make them one of the most anticipated developing teams in the current U.S. dance landscape.
