Madison Chock and Evan Bates are seven-time U.S. ice dance champions, World champions, and 2026 Olympic silver medalists — the most decorated ice dance team in American history. They train under the legendary coaching trio of Patrice Lauzon, Marie-France Dubreuil, and Romain Haguenauer in Montreal, and compete for All Year FSC and Ann Arbor FSC.

Chock and Bates have been a dominant force in ice dance for over a decade, winning U.S. titles, World medals, and Grand Prix Finals across multiple seasons. But it was at the 2026 Milan Olympics that they claimed the crowning achievement of their careers — earning the Olympic silver medal and becoming the highest-placing American ice dance team in Olympic history. Their free dance programs are consistently regarded as among the most innovative and emotionally sophisticated in the sport.

Chock and Bates won three consecutive World Championships from 2023 to 2025, becoming the first U.S. team to accomplish this feat. Combined with their two team event gold medals, they are tied for the most Olympic medals by any U.S. figure skater. Evan's fifth Olympic appearance made him the first U.S. figure skater to compete in five Olympic Games.
