In their final major international competition before the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026, Emilea Zingas and Vadym Kolesnik announced their Olympic intentions in the clearest possible terms: a gold medal at the ISU Four Continents Figure Skating Championships 2026, their first major international title together.

The Detroit-area ice dance team delivered personal-best scores in both the rhythm dance and free dance to claim the Four Continents title, defeating Canada's Gilles and Poirier for gold. Their free dance to Romeo and Juliet was the cleanest and most confident performance of their season, earning Level 4 on all four key elements.

"We've been working all season to peak at the right moment. We wanted to go into the Olympics with confidence, and tonight gave us exactly that." — Vadym Kolesnik

Isabeau Levito earned bronze in the women's singles event, delivering a strong performance of her Cinema Paradiso free skate to remind the figure skating world that she is a genuine medal contender in Milan. The 2024 World silver medalist, who missed much of last season with a foot injury, looked fully healthy and confident in what was her final major competition before the Olympics.

Starr Andrews competed in the women's singles event as well, finishing 15th. Ellie Kam and Danny O'Shea withdrew from the competition after the short program due to a minor injury, but were confirmed healthy and on track for the Olympic Games.
