Gabriela Juarez-Rivas (born May 5, 2008, Mountain View, California) is an American figure skater competing in ladies singles. She trains at Sharks Ice San Jose under coaches Olga Ganicheva, Aleksey Letov, and Rafael Arutyunyan, with choreography by Shae-Lynn Bourne, and represents the Peninsula Skating Club.
A San Jose native, Juarez-Rivas established herself as one of the most decorated junior skaters of her generation, claiming both the Junior Grand Prix Final and the World Junior Championships in the 2023–24 season before transitioning to the senior level. Known for her deep back loading and technical ambition — regularly loading her programs with difficult jump combinations in the second half — she quickly confirmed her place among the top ladies skaters in the country, earning silver at the Grand Prix Final and placing sixth at the World Championships in Boston in her first senior year.
In the 2025–26 season, Juarez-Rivas continued to build her senior résumé with strong results on the Grand Prix circuit and a Challenger Series title at the Nebelhorn Trophy. After finishing fifth at the U.S. Championships in St. Louis and being named first Olympic alternate, she received a late call to the 2026 World Championship team in Prague following Alysa Liu's withdrawal. Her Carmen free skate earned her the bronze medal and her first senior World Championship podium finish, making her one of the youngest American women to medal at a World Championship.
